Nana Brown was a Kilmarnock landscape artist and art teacher.  The Dick Institute, Kilmarnock has a number of her works depicting scenes in Galloway, including Boats at Kippford.  The Dick Institute also has a portrait of her by H Cameron Wilson.  Her New Galloway Village was exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy in 1944.
