(Sir) William Geddes
For several years worked under Walter Grieve at Thomas Nelson and Sons. Produced paintings for the canteen at Rosyth during Second World War and on HMS Renown.
His study of dykers at Ravenshall was used for the cover of the first edition of Dry Stone Walling by Colonel F.Rainsford-Hannay. The dykers were Adam Scott and Edwin Farmer.
