Born in Norwich, Rosemary Gascoyne became an artist relatively late in life, having worked in the film industry.  After Amersham College, she took a degree in Fine Art at Brighton in 1981.  She moved to Dumfries and Galloway in 1993, setting first in Creetown, where she opened the Cree Gallery before moving to Gatehouse in 1996 before moving to Dalry.  Examples of her work can be found at Gracefiled Arts Centre.  For more information on the artist and her work see
